What is a Meal Plan?

A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at 15 locations across campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes and Cub Cash, conveniently loaded onto your Student or Faculty/Staff ID. No need to carry additional cards or cash!

All meal plans are per semester. If you sign up for a meal plan in the Fall, you will have to register for the same meal plan in the spring. Meal plans do not auto renew.

Meal Swipes give you access to our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, The Mane Dish.

Cub Cash

Cub Cash may be used at any of the dining locations on campus. Visit our locations page for location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation.

For Resident Plans, Cub Cash balance rolls over from fall to spring semester. Cub Cash expires at the end of the spring semester.

For Commuter Plans, Cub Cash will roll over until used. However, if your voluntary resident or commuter plan is left dormant for over one year, it will expire.

Both of the All Access Plans and the Cub Plan come with Buddy Swipes to use for friends and family visiting campus.

To-go meals:

To go boxes are available at The Mane Dish. 

  1. ONE To-Go container allowed per meal swipe. 
  2. To-Go containers are for dine-out only.
  3. To-Go containers are for one meal swipe. Multiple trips with the same To-Go container are prohibited.
  4. Dine-In and To-Go containers are not allowed on one swipe. 

Managing Your Plan

There are three ways you can check your Meal Swipes and Cub Cash balance:

  • GetApp will show CubCash balance.
  • On your receipt after a purchase at any dining location.
  • Visit the meal plan office in the Student Union Room 1521, open Monday-Thursday 7:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Friday 7:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
